Princess Tilda in Lilac...

Good morning, Blogland!  I'm back today to share another of my Princess Tilda cards...
...This time I coloured her dress in lilac tones and had my first attempt at colouring black hair!  I also changed the skin tone a little, using Blush, Soft Peach and Coral.  The pretty paper is from Prima's Hello Pastel pad and I thought it was too pretty to cover over, so kept the layout quite simple.  I added some bling to Tilda's tiara and shoes and a touch of glitter around the edge of her dress.  I finished with a few pearls and a couple of polka dot buttons...
...Speaking of buttons, don't forget there's still plenty of time to enter into my challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers which is 'Button it!'.  All you have to do is add a button on your creation and colour your image with any of the Letraset family of pens to be in with a chance of winning 4 digis from the fabulous Sassy Studio Designs, so hop on over to the PfP blog to enter and see what my wonderful teamies have made for your inspiration!
Well that's it from me, short and sweet today as there is a huge pile of ironing with my name on it! (unfortunately!) Have a wonderful Wednesday...

Passion for Promarkers - Button it!...

Good morning, dear Blogger friends!  Tuesday's rolled around again (they seem to come so quickly these days!) which means that it's time for another great challenge over at Passion for Promarkers!  This week, it's my turn to host and I have chosen a nice easy theme of 'Button it!'  So as long as you put a button somewhere on your creation, you'll be in with a chance of winning 4, yes that's right...4 (!) digis from the fabulous Sassy Studio Designs, who are sponsoring us this week...

Don't forget to be eligible to win the prize, you MUST use your Letraset products (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.
We were lucky enough to receive a digi to play with for this week's challenge and I got to use the ever so sexy Lager Pin-up Sassy...
...I decided to make a DL card as it meant that I could use a nice large image and because I haven't made one for sooo long!  The papers are all from my stash and determined the colour scheme - I am loving yellow on cards at the moment, maybe because of all the sunshine we've been having, but don't seem to have very much in the way of yellow papers!...
...I coloured Sassy with my Pro/Flexmarkers (of course!) and added some glitter to the lager froth and Glossy Accents to the bubbles on the glass (though neither show up with my amazing photography skills!?!)  I added a few diamantes and the obligatory buttons in the form of white and aqua star buttons, a stamped sentiment and I was done!
I hope you get the chance to join in with my theme this week and look forward to visiting all your blogs to see your wonderful creations!  Don't forget to hop on over to the Passion for Promarkers blog to see what my uber talented teamies have been up to!  Thanks for popping by and I'll be back soon with some more craftiness!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Princess Tilda in pink...

Good evening, my lovelies!  Well, the Summer holidays are in full swing which means crafty time is at a premium!  Days are spent trying to entertain a 10 year old, picking up after a teenager, sorting the garden in preparation for a new shed and washing, washing, washing...partly due to the fact that every warm day results in two soggy clothed boys from swimming in the river!

Whilst trying (this being the operative word!) to sort out my craft drawers the other day, I came across a sheet of Princess Tildas that the lovely Karen had stamped for me an age ago! (No really, it's that long ago, I can't remember!)  So, with boys in river, I sat at my crafty table and coloured all four of them up in different colourways, then over a few days managed to make them into cards, so I'll be sharing them on my little blog this week...as well as my Passion for Promarkers make tomorrow, for which it's my turn to host!  So today, I have Princess Tilda in pink...

...The papers are from my stash and were another gift, this time from the lovely Carole who attends our workshop, who gave me a pile of patterned and plain cardstock...thank you, hunny!!  I kept the layout quite simple and framed Tilda with one of my fave dies, Spellbinders Floral Ovals - they can be a bit of a nightmare for getting out of the dies, but are well worth it!...
...I coloured sweet Princess Tilda with my Pro/Flexmarkers, giving her brown hair.  Colours used :
Skin - Blush, Dusky Pink, Coral
Hair - Walnut, Cocoa, Caramel, Sandstone
Dress - Tea Rose, Watermelon, Antique Pink
Petticoat, gloves and socks - Dove Grey, Blender
Shoes - Cool Grey 1, 3, 4, 5 & Black
I then blinged her up with some small diamantes and a touch of crystal glitter.  I embellished with Nellie Snellen corners (I think!), polka dot satin ribbon, small tea rose and pearls.  A simple sentiment and printed insert finished it off...et complet! Finito! Fertig! Färdiga! Finished!
Thanks for dropping by to see me today, I'll be back tomorrow with my DT inspiration for my Passion for Promarkers Challenge - it's a nice easy one, so I'd love it if you can play along!  Until then, have a great evening!
